Low Tech Lab is a collaborative research platform about low-tech. The project aims to build a worldwide community of inventors and handymen who create, cooperate and share knowledge about low-technologies solving 50 identified challenges from energy to nutrition.
Our first challenge is to find an economic model to the project. The second is to find a way to develop and manage the community of low-tech inventors. The last challenge is to assess the impact of the project.
Part-up is a platform for matching people to temporary teams. Part-up helps you find and build the best team for your project, startup, community or organization. Organizations can get their own tribe on part-up.com to become decentralized collaborative organizations (DCO) and allow for bottom-up collaboration within, on the edge of, or outside of the current organizational boundaries.
Our main challenge is to share value with the community in a consistent way based on merits and contributions. How to value contributions in kind, in cash and in code?
Science4Sustainability helps to link what science knows with what business does, by linking experts and scientists to social entrepreneurs. They were able to identify suitable experts to help social entrepreneurs by promoting their stories on social media (Twitter & Facebook) and via a simple Wordpress platform. Since then, they received increasing inquiries by other social entrepreneurs, by scientists and universities.
Our challenge is to be sustainable on the long-term. Help is needed to identify the best ways to generate our revenue streams. The platform also needs to be designed for further development.
